Each corbel is individually made from genuine solid oak in our Northumbrian workshop and carefully worked by hand to create a traditional, aged appearance. The heavily worked surface brings out the beautiful natural grain and character of the timber, making them particularly well suited to our rustic and heavily worked oak mantels.

The traditional curved profile works beautifully in country cottages, farmhouses and period properties, while also adding warmth and character to more modern interiors.

Because these are made from genuine timber rather than moulded or manufactured material, every corbel is unique. Natural variations in grain, knots, colour and character are all part of the appeal of real oak.

They can be used beneath a mantel as a decorative feature, giving the appearance of a traditional supported fireplace beam and adding extra detail to an otherwise simple fireplace.
