2. Our Products
All our products are described as accurately as possible.
Because each beam and shelf is handmade from natural oak, variations in colour, grain, and texture are normal and make every piece unique.
Dimensions are approximate within reasonable tolerances.
We reserve the right to update product descriptions or pricing at any time, but once your order has been accepted, those changes will not affect your purchase.
3. Orders and Contract Formation
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the item(s).
We accept your order once payment is processed and you receive an Order Confirmation Email.
If we cannot fulfil an order, we will contact you and issue a full refund.
Custom or made-to-order products are crafted specifically for you. Once confirmed, these orders cannot be cancelled or changed except as required by law.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT (where applicable).
Delivery charges, if any, are shown at checkout before payment.
Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering through our secure checkout.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Dispatch and delivery times are set out in our Shipping Policy.
Standard items are usually dispatched within 7 working days; custom pieces may take 2–4 weeks.
We are not liable for delays caused by couriers or events beyond our control, but we will always keep you informed.
6. Returns and Refunds
Our Refund & Return Policy forms part of these terms.
Standard (non-custom) items may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Custom or made-to-order products are non-returnable unless faulty or not as described.

7. Guarantee and Quality Assurance
We provide a 25-year guarantee against manufacturing defects on our oak mantels, beams, and shelves.
This guarantee covers structural faults and defects in workmanship under normal domestic use.
It does not cover natural movement in timber, damage from incorrect installation, misuse, or lack of maintenance.

8. Your Responsibilities
You agree to use our website lawfully and not to post or transmit any harmful content.
You must provide accurate contact and delivery details.
We are not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses supplied at checkout.
9. Intellectual Property
All images, text, and designs on this website are owned by or licensed to Oak Mantels Direct and may not be used without our written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
To the extent permitted by law, Oak Mantels Direct will not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our products or website.
