Solid Oak X-Leg Coffee Table – Handmade in Northumberland

A beautifully substantial handmade solid oak coffee table, crafted in our Northumberland workshop and finished with striking black X-shaped legs.

The tabletop is made from 45mm thick solid oak, using either a single solid board or full-stave construction, depending on the timber available. We select each piece for its natural grain and character, meaning every table is completely unique.

Natural knots, grain patterns and subtle variations are part of the beauty of real oak and give each table its own individual character.

The chunky 45mm oak top is paired with sturdy black X-frame legs, giving the table a clean industrial look while still retaining the warmth and character of traditional solid timber.

Top thickness: Approx. 45mm

The 40cm version is ideal for narrower rooms and spaces, while the 60cm wide version creates a larger, more substantial centrepiece.

Handmade in Northumberland

Every table is made to order by hand in our Northumberland workshop rather than mass-produced. From preparing and finishing the oak through to final assembly, each piece is individually made with an emphasis on solid construction and the natural beauty of the timber.

Because we use genuine solid oak, no two tables will ever be exactly alike. Knots, grain variation and natural markings are features rather than defects and are what make each piece unique.

A proper solid-wood coffee table designed to last for years — and unlike veneered furniture, the oak top can be sanded and refinished in the future if required.
